Seven-Stage Treatment Process

Screening & Grit Removal

Bar screens and grit chambers remove large solids, rags, and abrasive particles to protect downstream equipment.

Primary Clarification

Gravity settling removes 50–70% of suspended solids and 25–40% of BOD before biological treatment.

Biological Treatment

Aerobic biological reactors (ASP / SBR / MBBR / MBR) degrade dissolved organics and reduce BOD/COD to target levels.

Secondary Clarification

Secondary settlers separate biological sludge from treated effluent, returning biomass to the reactor.

Tertiary Polishing

Sand filtration, UV disinfection, and chlorination reduce pathogens and produce reuse-grade effluent.

Sludge Dewatering

Centrifuges or filter presses reduce sludge volume by up to 85% for safe disposal or land application.
